Burr-free metal parts from foils, sheets or metals on carrier materials are manufactured quickly and economically by etching technology. Either larger quantities or individual samples and preliminary series can be produced with very low tool costs.

If the etched parts are then finished with PVD or electroplating processes, the result is an extremely diverse field of application for the parts. The processes named above are also carried out at Heraeus. Through the online transfer of your design data, the optimization on our computers for the etching process and the direct preparation of films, Heraeus can respond particularly efficiently and target orientated to your requirements.

Thicknesses between 0,03 and 0,8mm can be processed with etching technology. Parts are made with highest precision and without burrs, even out of materials that can hardly be stamped .
